Lushoto District is nestled in the West Usambara Mountains in northeastern Tanzania. Lushoto Tourism Information Center located at the small town of Soni few kilometres from Lushoto town and Mombo. Direct buses are available from Arusha and Dar es salaam, other coaches stop in Mombo, where local buses travel about 32 kilometres along a paved road to Lushoto. Tourists encouraged to stop by the center for accurate information about Lushoto and Usambara travels including where to stay, where to go, accomodation facilities, professional guides, and other important informations about the district. Tax services is available from the center to Lushoto town and Soni after possible arrangements.
